“Everything’s true. God’s an astronaut. Oz is over the rainbow. And Midian’s where the monsters live…”
-Peloquin from Clive Barker’s Nightbreed
I love Clive Barker’s film Nightbreed and the novella, Cabal, upon which the film was based. This is a study of Peloquin, the great rebel of Midian, one of my very favorite characters from that world. It is his bite that transforms Boone into the chosen one, the great Messiah of Midian.

Gorgeous work. Peloquin is my favorite of all as well. His resemblance to Puck in his wilfulness to do as he pleased for his own belief in what was meant to be was perfect. But I loved it when Lori said, "Just because you made him, doesn't mean you own him." Parker's ability to almost make him look vulnerable in that moment was so superbly played.

(Sorry. Big fan. Can't wait for some more US showings of The Cabal Cut so I can catch it. =) )

Not at all...I'd love to see the director's cut as well! Thanks very much for your comments, my friend!

Love this piece! The composition of the characters and the contrast of the left over white are both beautiful
